Video sharing site ku6.com got funding from Baidu

Company confirms the first round investment.
Total $5 million in April 2007 from DFJ
(Draper Fisher Jurveston, who provided seed
capital to Baidu as well), ePlanet ventures,
two other funds, and Baidu. They have already
made RMB 25 million in 2007.

Ku6 already has cooperative ties with Baidu,
Netease, Sina, and Blizzard, with a strategic
cooperation established with the former two,
plus, strategic video cooperation with CCTV's
film channel, Hubei TV, China Entertainment TV
(CETV), and Dragon TV. Ku6 recently allied

various players (tudou, youku, and 56.com).
